Our approach
At Hands and Mind, therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices tailored to each child's unique experiences and preferences. Sessions aim to support children, young people and families through a range of mental health, behavioural, and parenting concerns. The practitioners draw on a range of evidence-informed approaches, including person-centred therapy, play therapy, trauma-informed practice, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Each child and family receives a personalised treatment plan created in collaboration with the practitioners, fostering an environment of trust and openness. The practice is grounded in creating safe, supportive spaces where children feel heard, understood, and valued.
