Our approach
The practice uses a collaborative, client-centered approach where children and families have ownership over their treatment goals and the best way of achieving them. Sessions focus on evidence-based assessment and therapy across communication, feeding and swallowing, literacy, and other areas. The team is trained in several specialized approaches including the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) method for feeding, Hanen strategies, PECS, PROMPT, Key Word Sign, and social-emotional learning programs. Sessions are offered in flexible formats including clinic visits, community-based services, and home visiting, tailored to each child's needs.
Meet the team
Hanna Bowler is the practice principal and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with many years of experience across health, education, and private practice settings in metropolitan, rural and remote locations. She has worked with both children and adults across multiple clinical areas including communication, swallowing, literacy, and disability services. Hanna holds certifications in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding, Hanen It Takes Two To Talk, PECS, PROMPT, Key Word Sign, BEST program for Social Emotional Learning, and Little Learners Love Literacy Sounds. She is committed to ongoing training, professional development, and mentoring other health professionals.
Your first visit
An initial assessment package is available at $330 and includes all speech therapy sessions needed to complete necessary assessments, a feedback appointment, and a comprehensive written report. However, this package is not required for every new client, so families are encouraged to contact the practice to discuss their individual initial consultation needs based on their circumstances.
