Our approach
Empower OT Services provides specialised therapeutic interventions aimed at helping children develop essential skills for daily living, learning, and play. The sensory integration program helps children with sensory processing issues learn to regulate and respond appropriately to sensory input, using a variety of techniques to help them thrive in their environment. Sessions are personalised, with therapists conducting thorough assessments during interventions. Therapy plans are developed to address individual needs and goals, with therapists providing clients and families with comprehensive written reports that include results and recommended strategies.
Working with families
Therapists provide clients and their families with comprehensive written reports that include assessment results and recommended strategies. The service can share assessment information with support workers, caregivers, medical professionals, and educators with client consent, ensuring families are kept informed and involved in the therapeutic process. Families are supported to understand their child's progress and how to help them achieve their goals.
Your first visit
The initial appointment is a one-hour session priced at $193.99. During this time, the therapist conducts a thorough assessment to understand your child's needs and goals. A comprehensive written report is then provided that includes assessment results and recommended strategies to help your child achieve their goals and enhance independence. This initial assessment forms the foundation for personalised therapy planning going forward.
