Our approach
At Educare Sydney, students work in a stimulating environment focused on unlocking their unique insights and developing authentic written and verbal communication skills. The teaching philosophy emphasises understanding the philosophy and design of the HSC syllabus first, then developing genuine critical thinking skills rather than relying on templates or generic approaches. Sessions include detailed written feedback, reading comprehension work that immediately assesses understanding, and audio components that strengthen listening and communication. Video recordings of all sessions enable students to review important written and analytical components, and parents can access these recordings to observe their child's learning and the nature of instruction. The approach draws on the tutor's background in linguistics, literature, history and languages to provide a holistic understanding of texts within their historical, socio-political and philosophical contexts.
