Our approach
Eagle's Wings Education uses small group face-to-face learning sessions that prioritise personal connections and relationships within a supportive community. The approach focuses on developing vital skills—how to learn, think, and question—alongside practical life skills, social-emotional strength, and character development, rather than knowledge alone. Sessions are tailored to each child's needs, ensuring they feel valued and listened to while benefiting from increased tutor time and greater social interaction. The learning community operates on values that respond to families' specific needs rather than external agencies, creating a close-knit, purposeful environment where your child can thrive.
Working with families
Family involvement is central to the provider's approach, with the service designed around the needs and values of families in collaborative family circles rather than external agency requirements. Parents can choose customisable activity session packages tailored over the week by subjects and days, and mentoring sessions are available for parents seeking advice or guidance on learning and personal outcomes. Families are also supported in writing their homeschool registration education plans and navigating NSW homeschool registration, ensuring parents are actively involved in their child's learning journey.
Your first visit
A first appointment begins with a trial lesson or full trial day, which allows both the family and the provider to determine the best match of services. During a trial lesson, your child experiences a single tutorial session in a subject of your choice, charged at the normal rate of $44 per hour. Alternatively, a full trial day (priced at $110) lets children and parents attend for part or all of the day at a preferred venue to see if the service suits your homeschooling family. These trials help establish whether ongoing enrolment can be considered if a place becomes available.
