  DW Tuition maintains regular communication with parents through progress reports that keep you updated on your child's progress and topics covered in each lesson. Homework is assigned to consolidate what's learnt during lessons, providing another avenue for parental involvement. • Meet the team

  The team is led by David Wu, the director and principal tutor, who has over 25 years of teaching experience dating back to 1999 and specialises in VCE Maths Methods. All tutors undergo a rigorous selection process and are personally chosen by David for both academic excellence and communication skills. The team includes university graduates with relevant degrees and university students pursuing related disciplines; all hold a valid Working with Children Check. Team members bring diverse academic backgrounds and experiences, including specialists in Maths across all levels, Biology, English, Physics, Chemistry, and other VCE subjects. Tutors are selected not only for their subject knowledge but for their ability to connect with students and adapt teaching to suit different learning styles and abilities.

• Your first visit

  The process begins with a free, obligation-free initial consultation where parents and students learn about the tutoring approach and feedback processes. You'll receive a tour of the Rowville centre to confirm it's a safe, comfortable, distraction-free learning environment for your child. Parents are encouraged to bring school reports, test results, and relevant information, which combined with any assessments conducted by DW Tuition, helps them understand your child's current academic standing. This comprehensive information forms the starting point for personalising your child's tutoring program. If you decide to proceed with enrolment, the team will match your child with a compatible, well-suited tutor, and a weekly lesson will be scheduled at a time convenient for your family.
