Our approach
Dr Pariz uses evidence-based approaches grounded in attachment, trauma-informed care, and family systems theory. Sessions are tailored to each child and family's unique needs and may include individual child therapy, parent-child interaction work, or family therapy depending on the presenting issues. The practice draws on traditional approaches such as CBT and Schema Therapy, as well as specialized training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). The focus is on helping families understand their child's needs, emotions and behaviours, and building healthy communication and relationships where everyone feels seen, heard and valued. Sessions are designed to support children, adolescents and parents in developing stronger connections with themselves and each other.
