Our approach
The service integrates scientific evidence-based therapies, neuropsychological knowledge, and mind-body practices, taking a trauma-informed and neuroaffirmative approach. Psychologists work collaboratively with you to understand your unique history, nervous system patterns and lived experience—not just your symptoms. Sessions combine both talk-therapy and practical techniques to create lasting change. The practice offers a safe, respectful space where insight can deepen and meaningful change can unfold at your pace, with sessions typically lasting 50 minutes.
Meet the team
The team consists of four psychologists: Dr Candice Fenner (Director, Clinical Psychologist & Clinical Neuropsychologist, Board-Approved Supervisor), Phoebe Heald (General Psychologist), Dr Jessica O'Loghlen (General Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar), and Emily Faulconbridge (General Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar). The team comprises experienced and authentic psychologists who combine clinical skills with genuine care and are committed to creating a safe space for meaningful change.
Your first visit
During your initial sessions, the psychologist will get to know you through a collaborative process to understand your history, symptoms and what you hope to work on together. A joint formulation is created so both you and your psychologist have an accurate understanding of your current difficulties, where they may have come from, and what is maintaining them. This assessment phase helps identify the focus areas for your therapeutic work. You'll also be matched with a clinician skilled in your specific areas of need, and any information you provide during the initial contact will inform this process.
