  • Our approach

Connected Children uses a child-focused, strength-based approach that helps carers understand the 'why' behind children's behaviour. Sessions are practical and actionable, designed to help parents and educators build on their existing expertise and skills. The provider emphasises that the people closest to the child know them best, and works collaboratively to translate theory into real-world strategies. The philosophy centres on helping carers think differently so they can act differently, with support tailored to individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. Joy, playfulness, kindness and gratitude are woven through all interactions to support genuine wellbeing.

  • Working with families

Connected Children actively involves parents and carers as central partners in all work. The provider commits to listening to and honouring what parents value, respecting their understanding of their child, and supporting them to access their own inner wisdom rather than relying solely on expert advice. Communication includes sharing knowledge as a way to empower families, with resources, articles and training made available to help parents harness their own expertise. The approach recognises that parents know their children best and are nearly always the most committed to their wellbeing, even when they feel stressed or overwhelmed.
