They empower people with additional needs by supporting inclusion, striving to follow best practice guidelines and implementing evidence-based practice across all services. Our approach
Our approach is grounded in evidence-based practice delivered by an interdisciplinary team, with therapy sessions tailored to your child's needs. Sessions can be held at one of our centres, in your home or out in the local community, and are delivered by allied health professionals and early intervention teachers who follow principles of inclusion, family-centred approaches, and strengths-based practice. We use play-based, client-centred, and holistic strategies to support children's development, with a commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practice. Our goal is to help every child reach their individual goals and thrive in environments where they feel valued and supported.
Working with families
We work closely with families as active partners in your child's support, involving parents and carers throughout the therapy process. Our therapists collaborate with you and other team members to understand your family's goals and find the best way to support your child, with a strong commitment to building relationships and creating safe, nurturing environments where every child can thrive. Your input shapes how services are delivered, whether in our centres, your home or the community, and we value your perspective in helping your child achieve meaningful outcomes.
Meet the team
Our team includes more than 90 highly skilled allied health professionals and early intervention teachers with extensive expertise across multiple disciplines. These include occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, behaviour support practitioners, music therapists, inclusion support teachers, and play therapists, all led by experienced senior leaders and clinical leaders. Many hold relevant degrees and qualifications in their fields, with additional training in evidence-based approaches such as trauma-informed practice, neurodiversity-affirmative care, and specialised therapeutic techniques. Our leadership team brings decades of combined experience in paediatric practice and early intervention teaching, committed to excellence and supporting children to reach their goals.
Your first visit
When you complete a referral form, a member of our friendly team will phone you within 48 hours to discuss your support needs and gather more details about your child. If you choose to proceed with our services, we'll work closely with you and your support team to make sure any service agreement fits your needs and funding arrangement. We'll create a Service Agreement for you to review and sign before we start providing any supports or services, ensuring everything is tailored to your family's circumstances.
