  • Our approach

Connect Allied Health uses a holistic, client-centred approach that treats the whole person, not just the condition. Sessions are tailored to suit individual needs and incorporate each person's interests and strengths. The provider is neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based, meeting clients where they are most comfortable—whether at home, school, early learning centres, or one of their clinics. Therapists focus on building strong relationships with clients and families to create safe, supportive environments where people can feel comfortable and thrive while working toward their goals.

  • Working with families

Connect Allied Health places strong emphasis on collaborating with families and carers. Therapists build relationships with families, actively listen to their concerns, and tailor support plans according to individual needs and preferences. The provider works in partnership with families across a range of settings including homes, schools, and early learning centres. Therapy coordinators handle scheduling and communication, and the multidisciplinary team maintains regular communication to provide collaborative, coordinated care that involves families in goal-setting and progress discussions.

  • Meet the team

Connect Allied Health is a multidisciplinary team including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, positive behaviour support practitioners, developmental educators, podiatrists, and psychologists. The founder and director, Sarah Tilley, is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with around 15 years' experience across paediatric and adult services, including expertise in autism assessment and positive behaviour support (with a Graduate Certificate from Flinders University). Team members include qualified speech pathologists, occupational therapists with experience across paediatric and community settings, and therapy coordinators with backgrounds in early childhood education. The team values ongoing professional development, with access to mentoring, clinical supervision, and continuous training.

  • Your first visit

At the first appointment, you'll have an initial discussion with an allied health professional to talk about your child's preferred supports, services, and funding options. You'll then work through the onboarding process, which includes completing risk assessments and signing a service agreement and consent form. The clinical team will discuss your child's needs and goals with you, and you'll be paired with an appropriate clinician based on individual requirements. Finally, your scheduled appointments will be coordinated and confirmed with support from the therapy coordinator.
