  • Our approach

Our therapy focuses on delivering functional, engaging speech pathology tailored to each child's individual needs. Our therapists are trained in evidence-based approaches including Sounds Write, Natural Language Acquisition, Lidcombe, Hanen and UFLI. We take a collaborative approach, involving families and other professionals who support the child, with sessions incorporating play using a well-stocked range of toys and activities. Our goal is to increase children's confidence in therapy, at home, and in real-life situations through activities focused on practical, everyday communication goals. Sessions are designed to be adaptable to busy family schedules.

  • Working with families

Family involvement is central to the approach—the clinic is passionate about collaborative practice and loves having families involved in therapy. The therapists work to identify real-life goals that matter to your family and focus on building your child's confidence across home, school and community settings. Communication with families is prioritised, and the therapists also work closely with teachers and other professionals involved in your child's support. The individualised therapy plan is developed with family input, ensuring strategies can be adapted to your family's daily routines and priorities.

  • Meet the team

The team includes Keely Galvin as Owner and Principal Speech Therapist, alongside senior speech therapists Hannah Rankin-Hume and Jessica Morrison. The therapy team also comprises speech therapists Aimee Elsegood, Anija Varkey, Lani Gibson, Manju Nair and Jamie Botero, as well as speech pathologist Gabriela Kado. Supporting the clinical team are practice manager Fiona Galvin and administration assistant Lauren Rushbrooke. All therapists are trained in multiple evidence-based approaches to speech pathology. The clinic has been established since 2021 and is a registered NDIS provider.

  • Your first visit

The first step is a comprehensive assessment to understand your child's speech, language, literacy or other communication needs. Once the assessment is complete, an individualised therapy plan will be created based on the findings. This assessment process helps to identify the specific areas where your child needs support and allows the therapists to design targeted strategies to help your child make progress. The assessment covers various areas depending on your concerns, including speech sounds, language, literacy, feeding skills and more. Families are involved in this process and can discuss goals with the therapist.
