  • Our approach

Clover Kids provides respectful, curious, and culturally responsive occupational therapy that focuses on helping children achieve daily functional goals through fun and engaging activities. Sessions are primarily individual with a single therapist on a regular, consistent basis, with flexible formats and locations tailored to each family's needs. Goals are developed collaboratively with families at the start of the therapy programme and reviewed regularly to ensure progress and measure family satisfaction with changes. The provider is committed to evidence-based, best practice care and aims to create a strong collaborative alliance between families and their regular therapist. Children work towards positive changes across areas including self-care, play and leisure, socialisation, community engagement, and school success. The therapy environment is respectful of each child as an individual and celebrates their progress through achievable, meaningful goals.

  • Working with families

Families are positioned as the expert of their own child and are heard and listened to throughout therapy. Goals are developed collaboratively with families at the start of the programme, and regular reviews ensure ongoing communication about progress and satisfaction with changes. The service offers flexible therapy formats including parent coaching sessions, which can be delivered via telehealth when face-to-face sessions are not practical for busy family lives. For culturally and linguistically diverse families, free interpreter services are arranged for NDIS participants through the Translating and Interpreting Service, with attention to preferred interpreter gender and continuity. The provider is experienced and committed to supporting families from diverse cultures and languages, with welcome materials translated into multiple languages including Turkish and Arabic.

  • Your first visit

At the start of the therapy programme, goals are developed collaboratively with your family based on your child's individual needs and strengths. The service takes time to listen to you as the expert of your own child and understand what daily functional improvements matter most to your family. Your child will be matched with a regular therapist who will build a strong collaborative alliance with you and deliver consistent, engaging therapy sessions. A detailed therapy plan is created with SMART goals specific to your child. Regular reviews occur throughout the programme to track progress and ensure the therapy is making a meaningful difference to your child's daily functioning and your family's satisfaction.
