  CLEAR Education uses a structured, one-on-one tutoring approach centred on the 'CLEAR' method, which stands for Confidence, Literacy, Effort, Ability, and Results. Sessions are driven by Karene, an English teacher with over 20 years' experience, and focus on enhancing critical thinking skills and essay writing abilities in a collaborative atmosphere. Students receive organisation and lesson plan support, and tutors—all handpicked ex-students of CLEAR Education who have excelled using the method—aim to help students feel confident and empowered in their own learning. The tutors are described as passionate, driven, and skilled communicators who combine exceptional motivational abilities with guidance to support students toward success.

  CLEAR Education is led by Karene Buchanan (Lucas), the founder, who is a specialised Year 12 English teacher at Marist College Kogarah with over 20 years' experience in the education industry. All tutoring staff have themselves been tutored at CLEAR Education and are handpicked to be inspiring mentors; they are described as passionate, driven, and excited to share their knowledge. The team is experienced in supporting students through organisation, lesson planning, and creating a collaborative learning environment that builds student confidence and critical thinking skills.
