Our approach
The approach is tailored and client-centred, recognising that every child learns in their own unique way and rejecting a rigid one-size-fits-all model. Sessions are designed to cater to each child's individual learning style and needs, with therapy adapted to suit their strengths and challenges. The team implements evidence-based practices such as the Hanen Programs, Sounds Write literacy, the Zones of Regulation, and other specialised frameworks to help children develop confidence and independence. Sessions aim to be fun, engaging and supportive, fostering a nurturing environment where speech and language skills can flourish while building self-confidence and positive attitudes towards learning.
Working with families
Family involvement is central to the approach—parents and carers are involved in every step of the process. The team is focused on empowering families to support their child's speech and language development at home and works collaboratively with parents to achieve the best outcomes. Communication is warm and approachable, with the clinicians understanding that life can be busy and offering a variety of services in convenient settings to support the whole family. Regular contact and partnership with parents help ensure that therapy gains extend beyond clinic sessions into everyday life.
Meet the team
The team is led by Charlotte, a Senior Speech Pathologist, Team Leader and Autism Diagnostician, and includes experienced speech pathologists such as Chelsea, Henry, Sonia, Monica, Jess and Tara, along with Speech Pathologist Mentors including Shatha and Ebony. All clinicians are Certified Practicing Members of Speech Pathology Australia and are committed to continuous professional development and staying current with research. The broader team also includes psychologists Rebecca and Ann (both Autism Diagnosticians), counsellor Maretha, Allied Health Assistants, and administrative support, with experience extending across Australian community clinics, homes, education settings and the UK National Health Service.
