Our approach
Carly Johnson helps people work through life challenges that impact their mental health and well-being by providing a neutral, safe space to listen to your concerns. Sessions involve collaboratively developing a treatment plan based on your needs, with a focus on providing known effective strategies so you can self-determine your life. The approach draws on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Behavioural Family Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The therapeutic work aims to help you develop your ability to manage mood and anxiety, regulate emotions, tolerate distress, and enhance supportive relationships. Partnership with you and your family or supporters is central to the process.
