Our approach

The clinic uses a multidisciplinary team-based approach where doctors and allied health professionals collaborate to bring together various skillsets and expertise. Sessions are delivered by individual specialists in purpose-built clinic rooms designed to be warm and bright. Treatment is evidence-based, grounded in current research and models of care, with the goal of achieving the best possible health, developmental and emotional outcomes for each child and their family. The clinic offers a range of services including general paediatrics, developmental and behavioural assessment, surgery, psychology, speech pathology and educational consultation.

Working with families

Your designated primary contact (usually the parent or guardian who completes the registration form) will receive all appointment details, reminders and correspondence via SMS and email. The clinic welcomes parent involvement and communication; for questions between appointments, you can email with your child's name and the clinician's name in the subject line. The clinic also provides private facilities for parents, including a parent's room for breastfeeding with full change facilities. Parents are encouraged to bring relevant information and reports to appointments to support the assessment and care process.

Meet the team

The team includes developmental and behavioural paediatricians, general paediatricians, an ENT surgeon, a general paediatric surgeon, a paediatric endocrinologist, clinical psychologists, an educational and developmental psychologist, a clinical neuropsychologist, speech pathologists, and an education consultant. All are qualified health professionals with specific expertise in their respective areas. The Practice Manager and reception team provide support, with the goal of making families comfortable from initial contact through to treatment.

Your first visit

At your first appointment, please bring your GP or specialist referral, a completed patient registration form (provided beforehand), your Medicare card, and private health fund details if applicable. It's helpful to bring any previous assessments or reports from other health professionals, teachers' reports, hospital discharge summaries, blood test or imaging results, and your child's health care record. Arrive 10–15 minutes early if you need to complete your registration form on the day. Your doctor or allied health clinician will conduct an expert diagnostic assessment tailored to your child's individual needs.
