  • Our approach

Care Speech Pathology delivers gold standard, evidence-based therapy via secure video call, with sessions tailored to your individual needs and goals. The therapists use interactive and engaging online apps and digital tools to enhance appointments and keep children, teens and adults motivated throughout. Sessions are designed to be flexible and fit around your schedule—whether from home, school or work—so you feel comfortable and can engage freely. The team focuses on building confidence and supporting you every step of the way, with consistent sessions that help you see real progress. Each appointment builds on previous assessments and targets specific therapy goals, with your therapist working with you to adjust frequency and strategies as you progress.

  • Working with families

The team actively communicates with and involves parents and carers throughout therapy. Therapists regularly update families on progress, what the child needs, and provide practical advice and strategies for supporting communication at home—ensuring parents and carers feel informed and empowered. Telehealth removes barriers to family involvement, making it easier for carers to join sessions from a comfortable, familiar space. Clear, timely communication is a hallmark of the service, and therapists go above and beyond to explain findings and next steps so families fully understand their child's progress and how to support them outside sessions.

  • Meet the team

The team includes qualified Speech Pathologists: Matthew, Chloe, Mikaela, Kylie, Martha, Sarah, and Julia, each bringing expertise and a caring, professional approach to therapy. All staff members are Certified Practising Speech Pathologists who deliver evidence-based therapy informed by the latest research in the field. Testimonials highlight therapists' patience, knowledge, and ability to engage clients—from young toddlers to adults—across a wide range of speech and communication needs including autism, apraxia, language delay and more. The team works together to match clients with the right therapist based on their specific needs, rather than by location, ensuring you get personalised care that suits your goals.

  • Your first visit

Your first session is a 60-minute video call with your Speech Pathologist, where you'll talk through your concerns and goals, provide relevant background information, and begin the assessment process. Most full assessments take more than one session to complete, so your therapist will discuss next steps at the end. Following this appointment, your Speech Pathologist will recommend whether a written report is needed to summarise findings and guide therapy. The initial consultation costs $242.49, and your therapist will explain any additional costs upfront, including report fees if applicable. This first appointment is an important starting point to understand your needs and create a personalised plan.
