Psychology therapy session (1 hour)
$240.35 per session. Medicare benefit $160.35 leaves $80 gap. Up to 10 sessions per year with Mental Health Care Plan and GP/Paediatrician/Psychiatrist referral.

Our approach
Broaden Psychology provides child psychology assessments focusing on intellectual, learning, social, emotional, and behavioural skills using the latest interactive technology via iPads. Every effort is made to ensure the assessment process is comfortable and engaging for your child. The service aims to identify underlying issues and provide a clear path forward for supporting your child's growth and development. Assessment options include face-to-face and telehealth appointments for families unable to access in-person services. The practice also offers the Westmead Feelings Program for children with autism, which develops emotional regulation and social skills in close collaboration with parents and carers.
Working with families

The program involves parents in supporting the development of emotional regulation and social skills for children with autism. Meet the team
Cassie Burton, M.Psych (Clinical), is a registered and endorsed Clinical Psychologist with a Master's degree from the University of South Australia and over 13 years of experience in both public and private psychology sectors. She previously worked as a senior psychologist within the South Australian Department for Education, providing psychoeducational assessments and supervising a team of psychologists serving schools across Adelaide's southern suburbs. She has extensive experience and strong interest in child development, working with children from preschool through secondary school to support their learning, social, emotional, and behavioural development.

The assessment evaluates your child's intellectual, learning, social, emotional, and behavioural skills using interactive iPad-based formal testing. This technology provides an engaging experience while ensuring accurate and reliable results.
