Our approach
Best Behaved Kids uses a neuro-affirming, child-centred approach rooted in current neuroscience research and the brain-body connection. Sessions focus on engaging, experiential social-emotional learning delivered in a safe and supportive manner, guided by the philosophy that "kids do well if they can." The practice is not ABA-based and emphasises strengths-based strategies tailored to each child's skills, neurotype and environment. Therapy happens in the settings where behaviours occur—at home, school or in the community—to achieve the best results. The team collaborates with families and other professionals to build children's skills and support their success, understanding and inclusion.
