• Our approach

  Bambini Allied Health uses an evidence-based, family-centred approach that prioritises individualised assessment and treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. The team supports parents and carers to have a strong voice in therapy, ensuring that families are involved in all aspects of their child's development. Sessions focus on helping children achieve their daily occupations—including self-care, school, and play—while building confidence, self-esteem, and social skills. Early intervention is recognised as best practice, with the goal of helping each child reach their full potential through comprehensive, holistic care across allied health disciplines.

• Working with families

  Parents and carers are central to the service model; Bambini ensures that families have a strong voice in assessment and therapy approach and are involved in all aspects of their child's development. The provider is committed to "walking the journey" with families and advocates for clients throughout their care. Goals are family-centred and achievable, and the holistic approach means carers are supported in understanding and supporting their child's progress across all therapy areas.

• Meet the team

  The team includes experienced Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, a Dietitian, and Physiotherapists. Speech Pathologists provide comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, literacy, voice, swallowing, and fluency, with years of evidence-based training in communication disorders. Occupational Therapists work with children and adolescents on daily living skills and development. One occupational therapist is SOS-trained in feeding therapy, one of few certified practitioners on the Sunshine Coast. The team is led by Director Miriam Lanham and includes Allied Health Assistants and client care staff who support service delivery.
