Our approach
Angela uses a collaborative, person-centred approach that recognises your child's own strength and resources for positive change. Sessions draw on evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy, tailored to your child's unique circumstances. The practice provides a friendly, caring and personalised service, with Angela committed to working with families in a safe, supportive and respectful environment to set and achieve individual treatment goals.
Meet the team
Angela Carroll is the Principal Practitioner and Senior Clinical Psychologist at the practice. She holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology from Murdoch University and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Curtin University, and is fully trained and accredited in EMDR Therapy. Angela brings 27 years of experience working in psychology across government departments, education, not-for-profit organisations and private practice, and is a board-approved supervisor.
