Our approach
Sessions are structured around a strengths-based and neuro-affirming philosophy that recognises each child's unique profile, learning level, and sensory needs. Play-based learning forms a core part of the approach, with tailored activities designed to develop skills at the child's developmental level rather than age level. A prompting hierarchy is used to support skill acquisition, gradually reducing support to foster independence. The environment itself is carefully designed with clear visual supports, colour-coding, and designated learning zones to provide predictability and reduce anxiety. Sessions integrate insights from occupational therapy, speech therapy, and education, with all goals embedded into Individual Education Plans to ensure consistency across home, school, and therapy settings.
