About Auburn Youth Centre
Auburn Youth Centre provides a place where all young people belong, offering a fun and safe space for young people aged 12-24 who are connected to the Auburn LGA. The centre employs specialist youth workers, social workers and an adolescent and family counsellor, and uses fun activities such as soccer, volleyball, craft programs, camps, and creative activities to connect with young people.

Auburn Youth Centre lists
- Counselling Services
- Free confidential counselling provided by a full-time counsellor available by appointment for young people aged 12-24 and/or their parents, using client-centred and culturally appropriate approaches.
- Drop-in Programs
- A safe and supervised space open Monday to Friday 11am-6pm where young people can relax, play games, use computers, PS4, music recording studio, and other facilities for free.
- Auburn Sounds Music Program
- Free music studio sessions with experienced music producers to write, record and perform original music, including lessons on keyboard, guitars, drums, and music production software.
- Personal Support
- Qualified youth and social workers available daily to help with issues including bullying, legal problems, housing, relationships, health, education, and mental health.
- School Holiday Programs
- Weekly activities during school holidays that are mostly free and include excursions to venues such as Sydney Aquarium, Luna Park, and Jenolan Caves.
- AYCafe
- A cafe open Tuesday-Saturday selling affordable meals, coffee, and drinks, with meals available for $5 or earning credits through training and participation.
- AYCareers Hospitality Training
- Free hospitality training program offering qualifications in food handling, food safety, RSA, RCG, and barista skills with mentoring and job placement assistance.
- Work and Development Order Assistance
- Registered program to help people aged 12-24 undertake Work and Development Orders to satisfy fine debt through unpaid work or courses.
- Workshops and Group Work
- Psycho-educational and educational group work delivered in schools and at the centre covering bullying, resilience, mental health, healthy relationships, life skills, and decision making.
