Our approach
Aldon Tutoring uses a personalised learning approach where each student works on their own program and learning plan, even when attending sessions with 2-4 other students. The centre focuses on assessment for learning—using both formal and informal assessments to understand each child's point of need and guide teaching decisions. Sessions emphasize inspiration, motivation and encouragement, with tutors acting as role models who deliver content with energy and enthusiasm, use a variety of student-active teaching activities, and provide non-judgmental feedback. The centre tailors instruction to individual learning needs, interests and backgrounds, breaking down concepts into manageable sections and offering appropriate challenge based on each student's experience and aptitude.
