Sessions emphasize inspiration, motivation and encouragement, with tutors acting as role models who deliver content with energy and enthusiasm, use a variety of student-active teaching activities, and provide non-judgmental feedback. The centre tailors instruction to individual learning needs, interests and backgrounds, breaking down concepts into manageable sections and offering appropriate challenge based on each student's experience and aptitude.

• Working with families

  Parents are kept informed of their child's progress and next steps in learning, allowing them to play an active role in their child's education. Anna has worked with students from varying backgrounds and learning needs, including special needs students, and has held roles in classroom teaching, intervention and extension work, and coordination in literacy and numeracy. She has developed the centre based on cutting-edge educational research to offer best teaching practice. The team is committed to every student they tutor, focusing on improving skill levels and delivering an exceptional tutoring experience.

• Your first visit

  At the first appointment, the centre conducts an assessment to determine your child's point of need, whether in literacy, numeracy, or other areas. This assessment is both formal and incidental, gathering relevant information about your child's current performance, progress and learning interests. Once the assessment is complete, the team establishes where your child needs support—whether that's intervention, consolidation, extension or revision work. From this foundation, a personalised learning plan is developed that directly addresses your child's individual needs and learning goals.
