At Aberfoyle Psychology we specialise in the treatment of anxiety disorders and associated social and psychological issues. Our psychologists have specialised training and experience in evidence-based treatments to ensure positive outcomes for the children, adolescents and adults that attend the service. We have particular expertise in the treatment of panic disorder, social phobia, generalised anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and blood, injury and injection phobia.

- Psychological Assessment
- Detailed assessment involving clinical interview, questionnaires, and separate/joint sessions with parents and children to understand developmental history, family functioning, and child's functioning across social and educational settings.
- Evidence-Based Therapy
- Therapeutic interventions delivered through direct work with children and parents, sometimes involving whole family sessions, with between-session practice as part of treatment.
- Early Intervention
- Services for young children and/or their parents addressing emotional, behavioural and relationship issues which can be precursors to later social and emotional difficulties such as anxiety.

Our approach
Aberfoyle Psychology specialises in evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders and associated social and psychological issues. The psychologists have specialised training and expertise in treating panic disorder, social phobia, generalised anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and blood, injury and injection phobia. Some psychologists also offer early intervention services where young children and/or their parents work together to address emotional, behavioural and relationship issues that may prevent later difficulties. Sessions are delivered by qualified psychologists with specialised training to ensure positive outcomes.
