Our approach
Sessions focus on making therapy engaging for clients while building on their strengths and addressing weaknesses. The approach considers the child's everyday activities and family needs, with therapists using a collaborative method to help clients participate socially to the best of their abilities. Individual and group therapy options are available, along with school-based and online services. All therapists are members of Speech Pathology Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Agency, ensuring evidence-based practice across speech pathology and psychology services.
Working with families
The provider prides itself on establishing strong connections with families and school staff. They focus on considering the needs of families when developing therapy plans and work collaboratively with parents and carers to support their child's development. Regular communication with school staff is also emphasised to ensure clients can thrive and grow in all settings.
Meet the team
The multidisciplinary team includes speech pathologists (Meryl Lefort, Lucas Ferguson-Balodimos, Helena, and Tamanna), psychologists (Natasha Chelva, Elizabeth, Maree, and Alayne), a key worker, an allied health assistant, and an art therapist. The team collaborates to develop individualised plans that consider all aspects of a child's development. They have extensive experience with neurodiverse children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and developmental delays, tailoring therapies to meet each child's specific needs.
