  • Our approach

Wonderful Worlds of Therapy uses a collaborative team approach where an Early Childhood Specialist coordinates support alongside Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Wellbeing Therapists. Rather than feeling like formal therapy, support is embedded into daily life through play, mealtimes, transitions and everyday routines, so learning feels natural. Strategies are tailored to your child's needs and delivered through parent coaching and practical guidance that fits into your family's life. The team works together to share knowledge and provide consistent strategies, so you receive clear, coordinated support without juggling multiple appointments or managing different therapy plans. Sessions focus on building your child's skills, confidence and reaching important milestones in ways that make sense for everyday life.

  • Working with families

Your family is central to the support process, with an Early Childhood Specialist getting to know you and your child well to develop personalised plans and practical strategies tailored to your family's unique needs. Communication happens through regular check-ins as your child develops, care team meetings with educators, school teachers and the child's care team, and collaboration to create a shared plan for coordinated support. Parents and carers receive clear guidance, practical strategies and reassurance to build confidence at home, in childcare and in the community. The provider explicitly focuses on family-centred care and helps families feel empowered to support their child's growth and development.

  • Meet the team

The team includes an Early Childhood Specialist who supports coordination, development, growth and care, particularly within childcare and everyday learning environments. The Speech Pathologist helps support communication and feeding skills through tailored strategies like teaching new words or introducing communication tools. The Occupational Therapist collaborates to support daily living skills, motor development and sensory needs through activities like sensory games and fine motor exercises. The Wellbeing Therapist helps families navigate NDIS, connect with community services, build support networks and manage family emotional wellbeing. All team members are described as dedicated professionals with experience working with children with disabilities, and the provider notes they also have lived experience as parents.

  • Your first visit

At the initial stage, you'll work with your Early Childhood Specialist who gets to know your child and family well to understand their strengths, needs and everyday routines. A Holistic Development Report is created that gives families a clear picture of their child's strengths, development and areas that have challenges, taking into account your NDIS goals and what you'd like to achieve. From this assessment, practical, play-based strategies are developed that fit into everyday life and support your child to work towards important milestones. The report is shared with the therapy team so supports are aligned and collaborative. You'll receive clear direction and strategies you can use straight away, with no waiting required.
