  • Our approach

At True North Therapy Hub, therapy is personalised, evidence-based and designed to be engaging and meaningful for each child. Sessions use play-based approaches, interactive activities and the sensory room to create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable learning and growing. The therapists build strong relationships with each client, creating a safe space where mistakes are celebrated as part of progress. Therapy is tailored to each child's strengths, interests and goals, with a focus on practical skills and real-world outcomes that matter in daily life at home, school and in the community.

  • Working with families

Parents and carers are actively involved throughout therapy at True North Therapy Hub. The team encourages parent participation in sessions, especially in early childhood, and works closely with families to develop practical strategies that can be used at home between appointments. Communication with teachers, doctors and other allied health professionals is prioritised to ensure coordinated, holistic support across all areas of a child's development. The therapists focus on parent coaching and education, helping families feel confident supporting their child's progress beyond the clinic.

  • Your first visit

The first appointment is a relaxed, play-based session where the therapist gets to know your child, understands your concerns, observes their skills and discusses goals with your family. The assessment uses a combination of observation, interaction and assessment tools to build a clear picture of where support is needed. You'll receive feedback and next steps at the end of the session, ensuring therapy is personalised and aligned with your family's priorities.
