Our approach
Hélène combines French language instruction with life coaching, creating a supportive learning environment where students develop skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing across 50-minute sessions. She tailors lessons to each student's specific needs and areas of weakness, explaining complex grammar rules and language nuances in clear, memorable ways. Her teaching style is energetic and engaging, fostering confidence alongside language proficiency. She believes communication in different languages is fulfilling, enriching and fun, and sees teaching and coaching as inseparable—drawing on her passion for the power and beauty of language to help students unlock their potential.
Meet the team
Hélène Méric is a French native speaker from Aveyron, France, with a BA in French and English Linguistics from Toulouse University and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Monash University. She has over 20 years of experience teaching French in Melbourne private secondary schools and has been a VCAA French Oral Assessor since 2004. She currently operates Triple F Melbourne and previously taught at Loreto Mandeville Hall and Bialik College.
