Our approach
Talkative Speech Pathology takes a collaborative, family-centred approach that focuses on your child's strengths and capacity while empowering you as a parent with skills to support their communication. The service is evidence-based and fun, delivered by a practitioner with specialised training in areas including Hanen programs, orofacial myology, speech sounds, literacy and stuttering. Beyond communication, the provider looks holistically at how sleep, breathing, feeding and dental development affect your child's overall learning and development. Sessions emphasise strengthening oral muscles and nasal breathing to support optimal airway health, recognising that good sleep supports readiness for learning the next day.
Working with families
The provider is committed to delivering a family-centred service and works collaboratively with parents and carers to empower them with the skills needed to support their child's communication. You can access services easily without requiring a referral—simply contact the clinic by email, online form (preferred) or text, and you'll receive a response by the next business day. The provider communicates in both English and Mandarin, making services accessible to families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Throughout the process, the focus is on partnering with families to ensure they feel supported in their child's communication journey.
