• Our approach

  Therapy sessions are often play-based and tailored to each child's needs, using games, activities, and adaptations to help children improve their skills and confidence in everyday tasks. The team works with children across a wide range of areas including speech sounds, listening and attention, language understanding and use, social skills, play skills, voice quality, early literacy, AAC, emotional regulation, and engagement. Based on assessment outcomes and goals identified with families, an individualised therapy plan is developed, which may include individual sessions at the clinic or offsite, group sessions, or support from an Allied Health Assistant. The provider is founded on the vision of being a trusted provider of inclusive and family-centred care in a safe and supportive environment, understanding that every child is unique with individualised healthcare needs.

• Working with families

  The provider is built on the vision of inclusive and family-centred care, with families working collaboratively with the team to identify and prioritise goals as part of the assessment and planning process. Families are encouraged to contact the clinic to discuss their concerns and provide information about their child's needs. No referral is required—families can directly contact the team to refer their child. The team communicates with families throughout the process, providing assessment reports that outline goals, strategies, and recommendations to guide ongoing support and help families understand their child's progress.

• Meet the team

  The team is led by Simone Hay, the Owner/Director and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who founded the service in 2006. There is also another Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, Laura Parker, and a Psychologist, Leroy Maronian, providing specialised care. An Occupational Therapist, Saraid Lenaghan, supports the team's diverse service offerings. The clinic is further supported by a Practice Manager, an Allied Health Assistant Team Leader, and multiple Allied Health Assistants who deliver cost-effective, intensive therapy support under clinician direction. The team is committed to supporting clients, families, and extended support networks within the local community.

• Your first visit

  An individualised assessment is completed based on your child's specific needs to identify their strengths and areas requiring support, using both formal and informal assessment methods. The time and cost of the assessment will vary depending on your child's individual needs. Following the assessment, a report is provided that outlines goals, strategies, and recommendations for ongoing support if indicated. Based on this assessment outcome and the goals you identify and prioritise together with the team, a tailored therapy plan is developed to support your child's progress.
