Our approach
Talk Play Grow Therapy takes a personalised, evidence-based approach that centres on your family's unique situation and goals. All therapy is carefully designed to support your child to meet their individual needs, with a strong belief in family-centred care and collaborative practice with other therapists and teachers. Sessions can happen at the clinic, in your home, or in community settings like school and preschool, with the aim of building both your child's capacity and the capacity of those who support them. The team values having fun and celebrating successes throughout therapy, working alongside you to help your child be the best version of themselves.
Working with families
The service is built on family-centred care principles, meaning your family and goals are central to everything they do. Therapy can be delivered in your home, school, preschool or playgroup as needed, and community visits are designed to build the capacity of everyone supporting your child. The team works collaboratively with you to develop a therapy approach that suits your unique situation and can coordinate visits with other professionals involved in your child's care. By supporting the people around your child, not just the child themselves, they help you all work together towards your child's success.
