Our approach
Susan Hughes works with parents to help them understand the ADHD brain and develop healthier relationships with their children. Her approach focuses on recognising that children with ADHD have differently wired brains and require different parenting strategies than traditional methods offer. Rather than viewing challenging behaviours as deliberate misbehaviour, she helps parents understand these as symptoms of a neurological condition and apply tailored approaches accordingly. By gaining this understanding, parents learn better ways to communicate and support their children, moving away from the stress and guilt that often accompanies parenting children with ADHD. The goal is to help parents find joy in their relationships while guiding their children towards becoming independent, responsible, and happy adults.
