  • Our approach

Splash's therapy is personalised and evidence-based, designed to help children see real improvements in their everyday life. Sessions take place in a range of settings including the clinic, home, school, the community, and via telehealth, so therapy fits around your family's needs. The approach focuses on creating practical tools and strategies that make sense for your child and family, with senior clinicians providing mentoring and consistent training across the team. Each therapy program is uniquely tailored after an initial consultation to understand your specific needs. The goal is to reduce overwhelm while supporting your child's growth, development and connection within the community.

  • Working with families

Parents and carers are central to the therapy process from the start. You'll complete an intake form before the first appointment and meet directly with the therapist during the initial consultation to discuss your needs and goals. The therapy plan is developed with your family in mind, and throughout the program the therapist works collaboratively with you to ensure therapy makes sense for your situation. The clinic communicates with families throughout their journey and tailors the entire therapy program based on your family's unique needs and circumstances.

  • Meet the team

Splash was founded in 2013 and now operates as a thriving team of passionate clinicians with over 20 years of combined clinical experience across the organisation. The senior clinical team oversees the service to ensure all clinicians are well-supported, mentored and receive consistent training. Team members include speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and music therapists, each bringing specialised qualifications to support children and families. The team's long-standing expertise enables them to develop strong capability across the service while maintaining high-quality care for their communities. The clinicians are committed to understanding each child's unique needs and helping thousands of families navigate individual challenges.

  • Your first visit

At the first appointment, you'll meet with a therapist and bring your child so they can understand your needs and get to know your family. Before this, you'll complete an intake form online and the clinic will contact you to organise the appointment time. During the initial consultation, the therapist gathers information about your child and what you'd like to achieve. Following this meeting, the therapist develops a therapy plan and goals tailored specifically to your child and family. This plan then guides your ongoing therapy program.
