  • Our approach

Therapy at Speechi & Co. is evidence-based, engaging and personalized to each child's needs. Following an assessment, the clinician works with you to develop specific goals tailored to your family's situation. Sessions are delivered through various formats including face-to-face at the clinic, mobile outreach to your child's school, kindergarten or home, and online via Zoom. The approach includes direct 1-1 intervention as well as coaching for parents and educators to support your child's progress. Goals are periodically reviewed to track your child's development and ensure therapy remains on track.

  • Working with families

Parents and carers are central to the therapy process at Speechi & Co., with communication and collaboration happening throughout. The initial appointment is a dedicated parent-only session to gather information and discuss your child's needs. Coaching is provided to primary caregivers and educators to support therapy goals and ensure optimal outcomes beyond formal sessions. The clinician works collaboratively with you to develop a personalized therapy program, and periodic goal reviews keep you informed of your child's progress.

  • Your first visit

The initial appointment is a parent-only session conducted via telehealth where the clinician gathers information about your child's background and needs. This is a consultation focused on understanding your family's situation and concerns, with no treatment delivered at this stage. During this appointment, the clinician will determine which assessments are needed and begin formulating an intervention plan tailored to your child. This session helps establish a clear understanding of your child's strengths and areas of support before any formal therapy begins.
