Our approach
The Shichida Method focuses on whole-brain development, nurturing both the logical left brain and the intuitive right brain through engaging activities. Weekly 50-minute classes include 20-25 age-appropriate activities such as flashcards, memory games, imagery training, music and rhythm activities, logic puzzles, and parent-child bonding exercises. Each lesson is conducted in small groups of up to 6 children, designed to keep children stimulated, focused and excited about learning. Classes are structured so that each lesson builds on the previous one, helping children develop stronger learning habits and confidence over time.
Working with families
Parents are an integral part of the Shichida philosophy—you attend each weekly lesson with your child to support bonding and learning. The program provides tools and techniques during class that you can continue at home to support your child's development between sessions. Staff communicate well with parents about their child's progress and share thoughtful strategies to support learning at home. Shichida becomes more than just a class for many families; it becomes an important part of their child's early learning journey, with the parent recognised as the child's first and best teacher.
Your first visit
At a trial class, you'll experience a real Shichida lesson tailored to your child's age group and see how your child responds in the classroom environment. The 50-minute trial session demonstrates the pace and structure of regular classes, with the same engaging activities and small group setting. During the trial, you'll have the opportunity to understand whether the program feels right for your family before enrolling. The trial class costs $70, and after attending, you'll receive guidance on the best class for your child's age if you decide to proceed.
