• Our approach

  The Shichida Method uses a whole-brain learning approach delivered in 50-minute weekly classes of up to 6 children, with 20–25 engaging activities per lesson. Sessions include flashcards, memory games, imagery training, music and rhythm activities, logic puzzles, and parent-child bonding exercises designed to stimulate both the logical left brain and intuitive right brain. The structured, fast-paced lessons keep young learners engaged and excited, building strong foundations in memory, concentration, creativity and confidence during the critical early years of brain development. Parents attend each class to support their child's learning and continue the brain-boosting approach at home.

• Working with families

  Parents are an integral part of the Shichida philosophy and attend every weekly lesson to support their child's learning. The team communicates with parents about their child's progress, and provides guidance on techniques and strategies to continue the "brain-boosting" lifestyle at home between classes. The program recognises parents as their child's first and best teacher, equipping families with the tools and methods used in class so learning extends beyond the weekly session. Strong parent-child bonding is a core part of each class and the overall program.

• Meet the team

  All centre managers and instructors at Shichida Doncaster are certified in the Shichida Method, bringing expertise and a genuine belief in every child's potential. Summayya is the Centre Manager at the Doncaster location. The team is highly trained in early childhood education with years of experience, a nurturing approach, and strong communication skills. Staff work closely with families to create a supportive, stimulating and joyful learning environment, and are committed to delivering consistent, high-quality education that reflects the Shichida values and vision for whole-brain learning.

• Your first visit

  A trial class is a real 50-minute Shichida lesson tailored to your child's age group, costing $70 per child. This gives you the chance to experience the class firsthand, see how your child responds to the pace and environment, and understand what's involved before committing to enrolment. After the trial, the team provides guidance on the best class for your child's age and supports your decision about whether the program feels right for your family. If you decide to proceed, you'll pay a one-time life membership fee of $100 per child, then term fees of $700 per 10-week term.
