• Our approach

  The Shichida approach focuses on whole-brain development, engaging both the logical left brain and the intuitive right brain through structured activities. Each weekly 50-minute class includes 20 to 25 carefully designed activities such as flashcards, memory games, imagery training, music and rhythm activities, and logic puzzles, delivered in small groups of up to 6 children. Parent and child learn together, with one parent attending each lesson to support continued learning at home. The program aims to build strong concentration, curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning during the critical early years when brain development is at its peak.

• Working with families

  Parent involvement is central to the Shichida philosophy. One parent attends each 50-minute class with their child, learning alongside them and supporting their engagement in activities. The centre provides parents with tools and techniques during class that they can continue using at home to extend the "brain-boosting" lifestyle. The team communicates regularly with families about their child's progress and works together with parents to create a supportive environment. Centre staff are approachable and professional, taking time to explain the program and offering thoughtful strategies to support your child's development at home.

  At Shichida Chadstone, all centre managers and instructors are certified in the Shichida Method. The centre manager, Anna, leads a highly trained team committed to delivering excellence in early childhood education. All team members bring expertise, professionalism and a genuine belief in every child's potential, with years of experience in early childhood, a nurturing approach and strong communication skills. The team works closely with families to create a supportive, stimulating and joyful learning environment.

• Your first visit

  A trial class offers the opportunity to experience a real Shichida lesson and see how your child responds in the classroom environment. The 50-minute trial session is specifically tailored to your child's age group and costs $70. You and your child will participate in the class together, giving you firsthand insight into the pace, structure and teaching style before deciding whether to enrol. After the trial, the centre team provides guidance on the best class option for your child's age and whether the program feels right for your family.
