Our approach
Perfect Your Speech uses evidence-based therapy tailored to each child's age, interests, and goals in warm, engaging sessions where children feel safe and encouraged. Therapy is child-led and interactive, drawing on play-based learning that motivates children and builds their confidence. Sessions take place in calm, supportive environments where the provider takes time to understand each child's strengths, challenges, and communication needs. The clinic works with a range of difficulties including speech sounds, language delays, stuttering, literacy challenges, social communication, and autism-related needs. All therapy is personalised and flexible, available in clinic, home, or school settings depending on what suits each family best.
Working with families
Family-centred care is central to the provider's approach, with close collaboration between speech pathologists, parents, carers, and educators throughout the child's communication journey. The clinic provides practical guidance and support to parents and caregivers, working with them to help children progress at home, in the community, and beyond the therapy room. Parents are encouraged to be involved in understanding their child's goals and the therapy approach being used. The provider offers flexible funding options including NDIS (plan-managed and self-managed) and private services to suit different family circumstances. Regular communication is maintained through the clinic's email (perfectyourspeech@gmail.com) and phone line (0478 118 524), with responses typically within one business day.
Meet the team
The team consists of qualified speech pathologists with extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of communication needs using evidence-based and compassionate approaches. The clinic also employs trained Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) who deliver structured therapy programs designed by the speech pathologists and help children continue developing communication skills between sessions through guided practice and play-based activities. The speech pathologists provide personalised paediatric services supporting children and teens with speech sound development, language skills, literacy, social communication, and confidence-building. All team members work collaboratively to create a supportive, welcoming environment where children feel encouraged to grow, learn, and express themselves confidently. The exact qualifications and individual experience details of team members are not specified on the website.
Your first visit
At the first appointment, the provider conducts a thorough, child-friendly assessment to understand your child's strengths, challenges, and communication goals in a calm and supportive environment. You'll have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and relevant background information as part of this initial evaluation. The assessment helps the speech pathologist gather the information needed to design a personalised therapy plan tailored to your child's specific needs and family circumstances. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with Saturday appointments available by arrangement. You can request an appointment online or by calling 0478 118 524, with a response expected within one business day.
