Our approach
James Allebone tailors therapy to each individual based on their needs and capacities, drawing on evidence-based approaches from psychodynamic and cognitive traditions. Sessions focus on helping clients look deeply at their inner processes and how these relate to their difficulties, uncovering and releasing old patterns of thinking and relating. The therapeutic modalities used include intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy (ISTDP), internal family systems (IFS), accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP), and pain reprocessing therapy (PRT). By identifying these patterns and their origins, the work aims to help clients free themselves from destructive internal mechanisms and achieve their goals.
