  • Our approach

At Little Fox Children's Therapy, we take a strengths-based, family-centred and neurodiversity-affirming approach to help your child reach their full potential. Therapy sessions are tailored to work on goals that are relevant to your child's everyday life, whether that's communication, movement, play or self-care skills. Sessions are structured in a way that suits your child and their therapy goals, and may include parent education and coaching to support learning at home. The clinic is based at Highton Hub, where therapy takes place in dedicated therapy rooms designed for children. We work with families to ensure your child achieves their individualised goals and accomplishes more.

  • Working with families

Family involvement is central to how we work, with a family-centred approach that recognises parents as key partners in your child's therapy. We communicate with families through phone calls, emails and meetings to discuss progress and goals. Parent education and coaching are provided during sessions to help you support your child's learning and development at home. We also liaise with other services and providers such as childcare, kindergarten or school to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting your child. Your feedback and goals help shape the therapy plan to ensure it meets your family's needs and priorities.

  • Meet the team

The team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Social Workers and Key Workers. All clinicians hold tertiary qualifications in their respective allied health disciplines and maintain professional membership (such as Speech Pathology Australia or AHPRA). The clinic is led by an experienced, supportive multidisciplinary team that is passionate about best practice and early intervention. Clinicians have varying levels of experience and work collaboratively to support children and families across a range of therapy needs. The team receives clinical supervision and peer mentoring to maintain high standards of care.
