Our approach
The Listening Program is a home-based, drug-free therapy that uses specially designed music to help the brain process sensory input more efficiently. Sessions typically require just 15 to 30 minutes of daily listening and fit easily into any family's schedule. The approach is based on over 30 years of neuroscience research and uses adaptive computer exercises and carefully composed classical music delivered through headphones or multi-sensory systems. The brain is trained through listening to evidence-based music to improve auditory processing, self-regulation, attention, communication, and learning. Sessions are completely portable, giving families flexibility to incorporate therapy into their daily routines.
Working with families
The provider emphasizes an empathetic, respectful, and family-centered approach to supporting families throughout Australia. Parents are involved from the initial appointment, where the provider gathers information about the child's needs and challenges. The website indicates that families receive guidance and coaching through their "listening journey," and parents can access information packages detailing all processes and costs involved. The philosophy reflects a commitment to empowering children and families to live their best lives, with practitioners available to support and mentor families as they progress through the recommended programs.

Your first visit
An initial appointment involves contacting the provider by phone or email to arrange a time to meet. During this appointment, the practitioner works to understand your child's specific needs and identifies the underlying causes of any difficulties they're experiencing. The provider offers an evaluation and assessment to gain a clear understanding of your family's situation before recommending which of the four core programs would be most suitable. The goal is to determine the right approach tailored to your child's individual needs and circumstances.
