  • Our approach

Kids' Uni Early Intervention follows the National Best Practice Framework for Early Childhood Intervention and uses a holistic, multidisciplinary support approach. Sessions are tailored to each child's needs and may include 1:1 therapy, group programs, assessments, and parent coaching. The service believes that high-quality, family-centred support is essential, with a keyworker model coordinating care. Children learn best when calm, safe and secure, and the program is designed around what works for each individual child and family.

  • Working with families

Families are at the centre of Kids' Uni Early Intervention's approach, with daily communication and a commitment to working in partnership. The service offers consultations, home visits, and parent coaching through their Project ImPACT program to support parents in their child's development. Parents are recognised as knowing their child best, and families are actively engaged in understanding the service's practices and building the program around their child's needs and family circumstances.

  • Meet the team

The team includes speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and early childhood intervention specialists who provide assessments and therapy. The service is led by qualified staff, with a Pedagogy and Curriculum Support Teacher, an Inclusion Teacher, and an Early Childhood qualified Children's Services Manager overseeing the program. The multidisciplinary team works together to provide holistic support, supported by strong partnerships with allied health providers.
