Our approach
Kids' Care Collective uses a family-centred and strengths-based approach, focusing on children's independence and participation in daily activities. Sessions are evidence-based and tailored to each child's unique strengths and challenges, incorporating play as a core method for understanding how children perceive and respond to their world. Therapists work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to equip children with skills they need to navigate life confidently. The team believes therapy works best through play, which allows therapists to gauge how children use their bodies, react to stimuli, understand concepts, communicate, and learn. Sessions include direct therapy time alongside planning, documentation, and reflection to ensure support is effective and family-centred.
