Our approach
Kate works with children using a team-based approach that emphasises collaboration between parents, the child, teachers, therapists, doctors and tutors to ensure everyone is working towards common goals. She has over 25 years' experience and specialises in language-based literacy problems, particularly reading, writing and spelling. She has completed additional training in the Multilit Literacy Programme, a thoroughly researched and highly effective program developed at Macquarie University for children having difficulty learning to read. This expertise allows her to work across a range of communication and literacy difficulties with proven track record of helping children develop the skills necessary to succeed at school and in life.
