Our approach
Kaleidoscope offers a neurodiversity-affirming speech pathology service centred around your child's strengths and interests, aiming to enhance connections, learning and wellbeing. The service provides flexible mobile appointments in familiar settings like homes, schools or community spaces, which helps children feel more comfortable. Therapy addresses many areas including speech sounds, language, literacy, social communication and alternative communication methods. The approach integrates evidence-based research with professional experience and recognises how individual children learn language, whether through analytic or gestalt processing. Telehealth appointments are also available for families unable to attend in person, using phone or videoconference with a private location and internet connection.
Working with families
The provider views parents as the expert on their child and is committed to delivering a collaborative, family-centred service. Sessions are designed to foster collaboration among families, educators, healthcare professionals and caregivers, directly addressing communication challenges experienced in the child's everyday life. Meet the team
Clare is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007 with over 15 years of professional experience. She has worked across remote, regional, urban and international settings, bringing diverse experience and empathy to her work. Clare provides assessment and therapy for children with a wide range of communication differences including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, intellectual disability, brain injury, cleft lip/palate and hearing challenges. She is dedicated to continuous professional learning and integrates evidence-based research with client values and extensive experience to deliver quality services.
