  • Our approach

Therapy is built on authentic relationships, kindness, and creativity, with guiding principles to nurture individuality and tailor support to each child's own world. Sessions are fun, evidence-based, and designed to maximise potential while engaging children where they are. The approach prioritises seeing people as individuals, building trust with families, and creating worthwhile experiences for everyone involved. With curiosity as the compass and care in everything, the focus is on supporting meaningful, sustainable communication outcomes that help children truly thrive as their independence grows.

  • Working with families

Families are invited to submit referrals directly online and will hear back within five business days regarding availability and next steps. The practice takes professional relationships seriously and authentically cares for the families it supports, with an emphasis on collaboration and partnership. Through the connection with Fullarton House, families access a welcoming environment where professional guidance and a supportive community come together.

  • Meet the team

Daniel Lawrence is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with over a decade of experience across diverse age groups and settings, including kindergartens, schools, and remote Aboriginal communities. He holds specialist accreditation in multisensory literacy tutoring and brings authenticity and warmth to empowering individuals and families towards meaningful outcomes. The practice is connected with Fullarton House, a multidisciplinary clinic, allowing collaboration with other professionals to provide holistic, evidence-based care.

  • Your first visit

The first session is usually an informal, low-key communication assessment to get to know the child and understand their needs, goals, and therapy requirements. From there, a personalised therapy plan is developed to maximise the individual's functional communication and quality of life. The focus is on making families feel comfortable while gathering the information needed to tailor the approach to each child's unique profile.
