Our approach
HORÓ uses Internal Family Systems (IFS) alongside psychoanalytic, Jungian, and depth psychology approaches to help clients reconnect with their authentic self. Sessions blend science-based therapeutic techniques with spiritual wisdom, storytelling, dream work, and embodied practices that honour both the mind and body. The practice integrates trauma-informed and compassionate approaches with archetypal work and mindbody connection. Whether working individually or in groups, sessions create space for genuine connection and healing by holding both the logical and intuitive, the material and spiritual aspects of human experience.
Meet the team
HORÓ is run by Aleksandra Staneva, who holds a Doctorate in Perinatal Mental Health and is trained to Level 3 in Internal Family Systems (IFS). She has formal training in traditional psychology, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and research, and continues advanced training with Jungian analyst and depth psychology practitioner Dr Clarissa Pinkola Estès. Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based therapeutic approaches combined with ancient healing practices and feminist perspectives.
