  • Our approach

At Empowering Therapy Services, sessions focus on supporting children with communication and mealtime needs across all the environments they spend time in—home, school, childcare, and the community. The philosophy centres on equipping families and settings with the skills they need so that every communication style can be supported, including alternative systems like visual supports and communication software. Sessions address a range of areas including language, speech, swallowing difficulties, and feeding challenges. The team works with evidence-based approaches including the Sequential Oral Sensory approach to feeding and Hanen strategies, alongside training in systems like PODD and Key Word Sign.
